Steve Garnett is a four-year letter winner in football and lacrosse from 1993-97.  Garnett was a first-team All-North Coast Athletic Conference selection in both sports, and as a senior he was named All-American in lacrosse.

On the lacrosse field, Garnett was named the team’s Rookie of the Year in 1994, and he would go on to receive first-team All-NCAC honors in 1996 and 1997.  As a senior, he served as the team captain and helped the team go 10-3 while advancing to the NCAA Division III Quarterfinals.  That squad also rose to as high as sixth in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Top-20 coaches poll.

In football, Garnett was a standout wide receiver who still holds the school record for career receptions with 171.  He played in all 40 games and finished with 2,370 yards receiving and 18 touchdowns.  As a senior in 1996, he caught 47 passes for a career-high 813 yards and was named to the All-NCAC first-team.
