Scott Halliday was a four-year member of the Denison men’s indoor and outdoor track and field teams. He was a part of two, All-American relay teams in 1986 and 1987 and was a six-time All-North Coast Athletic Conference honoree.

Halliday was a member of the 1600 meter relay outdoor team that has held the school record since 1987. That same relay team held the Denison indoor record for 15 years until it was broken in 1999. He captured two individual conference championships in the 300-yard dash (indoor) and the 400 meters (outdoor) and totaled seven conference championships in relay events.

He was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity and the Denison Hilltoppers.
