Opened in October of 1994, The Mitchell Fieldhouse is the indoor home of the Denison track & field and tennis teams. The facility contains a 200-meter track that was replaced prior to the 2019-20 season. The facility is capable of hosting NCAA national indoor track & field competition. Mitchell Fieldhouse served as the host site for 17-consecutive North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships from 1994 to 2010. The facility most recently hosted the NCAC Indoor Track and Field Championships in 2020.
Additionally, the facility houses four indoor tennis courts, as well as two regulation international squash courts. In 2020, with the resurfacing of the indoor track the tennis courts received a facelift with the addition of Denison-Red tennis courts with a gray infield.
In addition to varsity competition by the track & field and tennis teams, the facility also provides other Denison sports an indoor practice venue in case of inclement weather.
