David Breschi is a four-year letter winner in men’s lacrosse from 1983-86 and a three-year letter winner in football from 1982-83 and 1985 at Denison University.
With the opportunity to play for two of Denison’s most legendary coaches in Tommy Thomsen (lacrosse) and Keith Piper (football), Breschi made the most of his time in Granville. In lacrosse, he was a two-time USILA All-American and a three-time first-team all-region selection. In 1993, he was named to the North Coast Athletic Conference’s 10th Year Anniversary All-Decade team, recognizing the top 16 players across the conference’s institutions spanning the years 1984-1993.
For three consecutive seasons, Breschi was named the team’s best defenseman. In 1985 and again in 1986, he was a first-team all-conference pick. In his four-year career, Denison lacrosse won 46 games and posted a .676 winning percentage.
On the gridiron, Breschi was a starter and all-conference linebacker on the 1985 team that went 10-1 and qualified for the NCAA Division III playoffs.
An attorney and entrepreneur, Breschi attended law school at Penn State and went on to establish a real estate title business with 11 branch offices. In 2003, he founded a consumer finance company and has been employed there since. Breschi continues to be deeply involved in the lacrosse community. As a founder of the Carlisle lacrosse program and head coach from 1996-2006, Breschi’s commitment to the to the middle school and high school teams has helped Carlisle develop into one of the most diverse teams in the state.
