Darius Grigaliunas was a two-year letter winner in swimming at Denison who went on to become the program's first Olympian, as a member of the Lithuanian national team at the 2004 games in Athens. He is this year's recipient of the Varsity D Athletic Citation.
Following his graduation from Denison, Grigaliunas developed into one of the world's fastest sprint freestylers, logging world rankings in the 50 and 100 freestyles. Grigaliunas qualified for the United States Senior Nationals, the World Championships as well as the Olympic games.
While at Denison, he was a member of the 200 freestyle relay that broke the school record. After graduation, he returned to break multiple Gregory Pool records
He is the President and owner of Baltria Corporation and the Director and owner of UaB Baltria in Europe. Baltria is currently one of the largest classic car dealerships in the Midwest. In 2015, he was selected as one of the top leaders under 40 in the Chicagoland area.
Darius and his wife, Rimante, live in St. Charles, Illinois with their son, Benediktas.
