Meredith Rieder is a four-year letter winner and an All-American as a member of the Denison women’s soccer team from 1998-2001.  A star defender on some of the best teams in program history, Rieder’s teams appeared in four-straight NCAA Tournaments while posting a .816 winning percentage.

As a senior, she was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-America team and was named the North Coast Athletic Conference’s Defensive Player of the Year.  Rieder is a four-time first-team all-conference and all-region performer.

In 2003, she was named to the NCAC’s 20th Anniversary All-Decade team, recognizing the top 18 players across the conference’s nine competing institutions spanning the years 1993-2002.

Rieder graduated cum laude from Denison in 2002 where she was a fellow in the communication and French departments.  She was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District IV first-team and also served as sports editor of The Denisonian.
