John R. Rudisill is a four-year letter winner in track and field and a three-year letter winner in cross country.  In 1968, Rudisill captured first place at the Ohio Athletic Conference Cross Country Championship.  One year earlier he took first in the two-mile run at the OAC Indoor Track and Field Championship.  With cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field combined, Rudisill was a six-time all-conference honoree.  He was also selected as the team’s most valuable performer six-times.

In his junior season, Rudisill ran in the national championship race of the 3-mile run after winning the NCAA regional championship in the event.

He is a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity and was  inducted into the national leadership honor society, Omicron Delta Kappa, and the psychology honor society, Psi Chi.

Rudisill went on to earn his Ph.D in clinical psychology from Indiana University in 1974.  He is currently a member of the faculty and Dean of the School of Professional Psychology at Wright State University.

John and his wife, Teresa, live in Beavercreek, Ohio.  They have three grown children: Stephen, Matthew, and Alisha; and two grandchildren: Braden, and Tate.
