Paul Doty won All-American honors in lacrosse in 1967 and again in 1968. He still holds Denison’s single-season record with 46 assists set 1967.  Paul is also the school’s record holder for single-game assists (10 against Michigan State) and highest points per game average in a season (6.7), both of which were set in 1967.

Doty currently ranks fifth all-time in career assists with 103, 10th in points with 174 and 26th in goals scored with 71.  In his final two seasons, Paul took over the top two spots on DU’s single-season assists list with 46 in 1967 and 39 in 1968.

As a junior, Paul became DU’s single-season leader in points with 74 before being passed by current leader Andy John in 1984.  He led the team in points in his final two season (74, 54), and was DU’s leading goals scorer as a sophomore (21) and junior (28).
