She advanced to the semifinals of the NCAA Doubles Championship three times, including an appearance in the finals in 2008 where she finished second in the nation with partner and fellow Varsity D Association Hall of Famer Kristin Cobb '11.

She earned the 2007 North Coast Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Year and 2010 NCAC Player of the Year, the second athlete in program history to earn both accolades. Drane was also named to the NCAC’s 30th Anniversary All-Decade Team in both singles and doubles and was a four-time All-NCAC selection in singles and a four-time first-team pick in doubles.

Drane left Denison ranked first in career doubles wins (90) and second in career singles wins (63). As a team, Denison advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament during each of Drane’s four years and went on to earn the Big Red's first NCAA semifinals appearance and subsequent third-place win in school history in 2008.
