Michael Riehl was a four-year letter winner and All-American in 1982 for the Denison men’s lacrosse team. That season Riehl led his squad to a program best 15 victories highlighted by two wins over Notre Dame and victories against Ohio State and rival, Ohio Wesleyan. Riehl scored 121 goals in his career at DU and ranks third all-time.

As a senior in 1982, Riehl tied for the team lead in goals with 52. That remains the third-most goals scored by an individual in a single-season at Denison. Riehl also ranks second in career ground balls (349), first in shot attempts and is 16th in career points (155). He was a four-time All-Midwest Region player and was named the team’s most valuable player in 1982.
