Amy Bradley Bortner ’92 was a four-year letter winner in women’s lacrosse at Denison. She was a two-time All-Region and three-time All-Conference selection as a defender. As a senior in 1992, she was named a first-team All-American by both the IWLCA/Brine and the USWLA, the NCAC Defensive Player of the Year, and first-team All-Region and first-team All-Conference. As a junior in 1991, Amy was named an honorable mention All-American by the USWLA and was first-team All-Region and second-team All-Conference. Her first career All-Conference honor came as a sophomore in 1990, when she was named to the All-NCAC second team. Amy also was a two-year letter winner in field hockey during the 1988 and 1989 seasons.
