Andrea Carella ’07 was a four-year letter winner in softball and a 2006 NFCA second-team All-American as a designated player, making her the second All-American in the history of the Denison softball program. She was recognized as a member of the NCAC’s 30th Anniversary All-Decade Team, selected to the All-Region first team and the All-NCAC first team in 2006, and named as an honorable mention All-Conference pick in 2005. As a junior, Andrea hit .429 with 57 hits, 15 doubles, and 27 RBIs, ranking her seventh all-time at Denison in single-season hits and doubles, and sixth in single-season batting average. She finished her career with 81 RBIs and 156 hits in 154 games played, while her 40 career doubles tie her for eighth in Denison program history.
