Chuck O’Connell held the Denison career record for most points scored in lacrosse for several years, as he netted 151 points in his four-year career that saw him selected on the All-Midwest team every spring. He scored six goals against Ohio Wesleyan in a 1964 game, and was a two-time All-American honorable mention pick in 1962 and 1965.  O’Connell led the team in points in 1963 (48), and paced the team in goals in 1964 (33).
