Women's Swimming and Diving

Denison Women Remain in Third Place After Two Days of Championship Competition

Greensboro, N.C.- With day two of the 2025 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships wrapped, the Denison women's swimming and diving team held tight to its third-place finish with 175 points. Ahead of the Big Red is MIT, who sits in second place with 216 points, and in first place is NYU with 242. Denison tallied seven more All-American finishes, bringing their two-day total to 17.

Setting Denison up for success early was junior Emily Harris, who finished third in the A finals with a time of 4:18.40, besting her NCAC title time by a second. Also earning a third-place finish and a first-team All-American nod was fellow junior Phoebe Ferguson, who swam the 100 butterfly in 54.24. Teammate Emma Pritchett earned second-team All-American honors after swimming the 100 butterfly in 55.22 for 12th place.

Over at the diving well, senior Alexis Radhakrishnan took home 14th place in 1-meter diving with a score of 391.70. In the day's final event, the Denison Big Red finished on a high note, taking third in the 200 free medley relay. Avery Vogen, Phoebe Ferguson, Maja Palmroos, and Grace Kadlecik touched the wall at 1:31.54.
