Greensboro, N.C.- Three days into the 2025 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships, the Denison women's swimming and diving team sit in fourth place with a point total of 278. Ahead of the Big Red is Kenyon, who has 315 points for third place, MIT sits in second place with 348, and holding tightly to first place is NYU, who has 368. Denison tallied six All-American finishes, which included one runner-up finish and three third-place finishes on day three of the championships.Â
Bookend top-three finishes helped keep the Big Red in the top five. In the day's opening event, the 200 Medley Relay,
Jassy Park,
Riley Tofflemire,
Maja Palmroos, and
Grace Kadlecik finished in third at 1:40.77. Tacking on two more individual third-place finishes and first-team All-American finishes were
Emily Harris, who swam a 2:00.33 in the 200 Fly, and
Drue Thielking, who finished third in the 100 Breast after swimming a personal best time of 1:01.31.Â
Earning second-team All-American accolades were
Riley Tofflemire and
Jassy Park. Tofflemire swam the 100 Breast in 1:03.10 in the B final, earning her a 14th-place finish. Park was the lone member of the Big Red to make it to finals for the 100 Back and took 15th with a time of 56.24.
Denison closed out day three of the championships with an exclamation point when
Emily Harris,
Phoebe Ferguson,
Annie Pfeufer, and
Quinn Brown earned the title of national-runners up in the 800 Free Relay with a time of 7:17.57.
