Indianapolis, Ind. (March 20, 2026)- The Denison women's swimming and diving team put up 124.5 points to maintain its hold on fourth place after securing eeight All-American finishes, six first-team and the final two being second team. Just ahead of the Big Red (239) is Kenyon with a total of 294 points, and in second is Emory with 319.5. Taking a substantial lead after day three is top-seeded NYU with a total of 375 points.Â

What happened in Prelims
Denison started on a high note, taking third in the 200 Medley Relay, was Jassy Park, Riley Tofflemire, Phoebe Ferguson, and Hailey Kaminski, who swam the event in 1:40.66. Joining the relay with a top-three finish, senior Drue Thielking earned third after swimming the 100 Breast with a time of 1:01.94

Day Three Finals
Denison came out determined after qualifying for eight A or B Finals. The Big Red earned its first top-three finish of the day by the 200 Medley Relay, which was made up of, Jassy Park, Riley Tofflemire, Phoebe Ferguson, and Hailey Kaminski. The 200 Medley Relay finished the race in 1:40.53 for fourth place. In the 200 Fly, senior Emily Harris swam the 200 Fly in 2:01.43 for fifth place. And in the 100 Breast, the Big Red tallied two finalists apiece for A and B Finals. Finishing tied for third was Drue Thielking, who finished with a time of 1:02.02. Just behind her was fellow teammate Riley Tofflemire, who swam the 100 Breast in 1:02.06 for seventh place. In the B Final of the 100 Breast, Gwen Bakker and Audrey Brink earned crucial points to inch closer to third place after Baker finished 12th with a time of 1:03.20, while Brink snuck into the B final, finishing in 16th place with a time of 1:03.70.
Denison would solidify its spot in the standings after securing a third-place finish in the 800 Free Relay, where the Big Red's Emily Harris, Ollie Morse, Reilly O'Hara, and Quinn Brown swam a 7:19.14. Putting the Big Red within 55 points of third place and ahead of the next team by 48.5.
