Granville, Ohio- Four Denison University women's swimming and diving seniors were named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District® teams by College Sports Communicators for excellence in the pool and classroom. College Sports Communicators selected these student-athletes for their combined efforts in the pool and in the classroom.

Senior Phoebe Ferguson (Columbus, Ohio | Health, Exercise, and Sports Studies) earned her third straight Academic All-District® honor. She ended her Denison career with two NCAC titles in the 100 IM (57.21) and 200 Freestyle Relay (1:32.48), helping the Big Red finish second in the conference. At the 2026 NCAA Division III Championships, she recorded two first-team and one second-team All-American finishes, scoring 6 points toward Denison's fourth-place national finish.

Senior Emily Harris (Nashville, Tenn. | Financial Economics) earned her second straight Academic All-District® Team honor. Like Ferguson, she finished strong with three NCAC titles (400 IM, 200 Butterfly, 800 Freestyle Relay), seven top-16 Nationals finishes—including six first-team All-American spots—and 56 points for the team.

After sweeping the NCAC titles, she was named 2026 NCAC Women's Diver of the Year. These accomplishments qualified her for the 2026 NCAA Region 1 Diving Championships, where she finished 12th in the 1-meter, 6th in the 3-meter, and earned a spot on the 2026 National team, finishing in the top 30.

Senior Drue Thielking (Brighton, Mich. | Biology major) is, for the second time in three years, an Academic All-District® Team honoree. Thielking ends her time at Denison on a high note. During the NCAC Swimming and Diving Championships, she claimed second in both the 200 IM and 200 Breast, earning 62 total points for the Big Red. She had a similarly impressive performance at Nationals, with two third-place finishes in the 100 and 200 breaststrokes, contributing 33 points to the team's total en route to their fourth-place finish.
