Austin, Texas – Seniors Emily Harris and Drue Thielking of the Denison University women's swimming & diving team have been named to the Third and First Team Academic All-America® as selected by College Sports Communicators for the 2025-26 season.

Emily Harris (Castalian Springs, Tenn. | Financial Economics) is a 20-time NCAA Division III All-American, including three times in the 200 Fly, 400 Relays, and 800 Relays, and has been named a CSC Third Team Academic All-America®. This is the second time Harris has been honored as an Academic All-America®; last year, she was named to the Second Team. At the conference level, during her senior season, she tallied two individual championships in the 400 IM and 200 Fly as well as a championship in the 800 free relay.

Drue Thielking (Brighton, Mich. | Biology) is an 11-time NCAA Division II All-American, including four times in the 200 and 100 breaststrokes and twice in the 200 IM. She has also been named a CSC First Team Academic All-America®. This is the second time Thielking has been honored as an Academic All-America®; last year, she was named to the Third Team. At the conference level during her senior season, she tallied two second-place finishes in the 200 IM and 200 Breast, earning her spots in each event at nationals. 

This brings Denison's count to 134 Academic All-Americans® winners in school history. Harris and Thielking are both multi-time Academic All-Americans® honorees, and bring the women's swimming and diving Academic All-America® recognition total to 31. 

Created in 1952, the Academic All-America® program, selected by College Sports Communicators, is a premier, nationwide college scholar-athlete awards program. It recognizes over 1,400 outstanding student-athletes annually in Division I, II, III, and NAIA, covering all NCAA championship sports.
