Drue Thielking of the Denison University women's swimming & diving team have been named Second and Third Team Academic All-America® as selected by College Sports Communicators for the 2024-25 season.
Emily Harris (Castalian Springs, Tenn. | Financial Economics) is a 13-time NCAA Division III All-American, including two times in the 200 Free, 200 Back, 200 Fly, 400 and 800 Free relays, has been named a CSC Second-Team Academic All-America®. At the conference level she is a seven time North Coast Athletic Conference champion, most recently earning first in the 200 Fly, 400 IM, and 800 Free Relay at the 2025 NCAC Swimming and Diving Championships. Harris is also two-time CSCAA First-Team Scholar All-American (2022-23, 2023-24) and a NCAC Academic Honor Roll recipient (2023-24).
Phoebe Ferguson (Columbus, Ohio | Health, Exercise & Sports Studies) is a 14-time NCAA Division III All-American, including three times in the 100 Fly and the 400 Free Relay, has been named a CSC Third-Team Academic All-America®. In NCAC competition she is six time NCAC title holder, tacking on her latest two titles at the 2025 NCAC Swimming and Diving Championships, with first-place finishes in the 100 Fly and the 800 Free Relay. Ferguson is also two-time CSCAA First-Team Scholar All-American (2022-23, 2023-24) and a NCAC Academic Honor Roll recipient (2023-24).
Drue Thielking (Brighton, Mich. | Biology) is a nine-time NCAA Division III All-American, including three times in the 100 Breast and 200 Breast, has been named a CSC Third-Team Academic All-America®. At the 2025 NCAC Swimming and Diving Championships Thielking finished second in the 200 Breast, and third in 100 Breast earning a "B" cut in both. She joins Harris and Ferguson as a two-time CSCAA First-Team Scholar All-American (2022-23, 2023-24) and a NCAC Academic Honor Roll recipient (2023-24).
This brings Denison's count to 122 Academic All-Americans® winners in school history. Ferguson, Harris, and Thielking are all first-time Academic All-Americans® honorees, and brings the women's swimming and diving Academic All-America® recognition total to 29.
Created in 1952, the Academic All-America® program, selected by College Sports Communicators, is a premier, nationwide college scholar-athlete awards program. It recognizes over 1,400 outstanding student-athletes annually in Division I, II, III and NAIA covering all NCAA championship sports.
