Heyes Named United Soccer Coaches First Team Scholar All-Region

Kansas City, Mo. - The United Soccer Coaches have released their NCAA Division III Men's Scholar All-Region Teams, and senior Henri Heyes landed first-team honors after getting it done on the field and in the classroom.

Heyes, a senior who is majoring in Economics, East Asian Studies, and Global Commerce, was named first-team Scholar All-Region for the first time in his career. Heyes helped the Big Red to a 15-3-3 record and an appearance in the NCAC Tournament Championship and NCAA Tournament Second Round. He helped anchor a defense that had 11 shutouts and only gave up .67 goals per game. The NCAC Defensive Player of the Year also netted five goals, two of which were game-winners. Heyes was also named fourth-team All-American by the United Soccer Coaches Association.
