Granville, Ohio - Junior Natalia Fanucci of the Denison women's golf team has been awarded the North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week award for her performance this past week.

The Big Red golf team traveled to the Kingsmill golf course in Virginia for the Historic Triangle Invitational. Fanucci finished tied for 16th with a score of 75 in the first round and 77 in the second. She was able to finish with +8 on the weekend in the invitational. Fanucci would tie for seventh in the field for birdies in the 36-hole event with 6, and tied for seventh in par four scoring as well. 

Fanucci helped the Big Red to a fourth place finish out of 14 team, three of them being nationally ranked #4, #8, and #12 at the time. Denison will look to improve on their fall success into the spring season, where they will look to make another appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
