NORTON, Ohio (November 11, 2023) – Led by three seniors in the top-150, the Denison University women's cross country team concluded its 2023 season on Saturday afternoon with a 26th-place finish out of 40 teams at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Championship meet, hosted by John Carroll University at the Silver Creek Cross Country Course in Norton, Ohio.
Senior
Cara Bodary led DU in 98th place out of 269 total runners with a 6K time of 23:07.2.
Fellow-senior
Michaela Hassler was 117th with a time of 23:26.5 while
Kate Immesberger was 149th at 23:51.6, making it a senior in each of the top-three spots for the Big Red.
Denison's team scoring was rounded out by a pair of freshmen:
Aly Marshall (24:58.6) in 190th and
Emily Porter (25:01.3) in 194th.
