GRANVILLE, Ohio (April 23, 2022) – Denison University women's track and field competed at the 2022 Jesse Owens Classic on Friday and Saturday at Ohio State University while also placing fourth at the Kenyon College Invitational on Saturday afternoon in Gambier.

Denison Results:
- Erin Anderson – second place in section 4 of the 800 meter run – 2:17.10
- Leah Ackerman – third place in the hammer – 44.17 meters (144-11)
- Anaya Jolivette – fifth in section 6 of the 200 meter dash – 26.31 seconds
- Anaya Jolivette – sixth place in heat 3 of the 100 meter dash prelims – 12.33 seconds

KENYON INVITATIONAL:
Catelyn Gagnier won the pole vault with a mark of 3.50 meters (11-05.75) while the Big Red also took first place in three of the throwing events.
Leah Ackerman (12.21 meters) won the shot put while
Mikaila Carpenter (12.01 meters) was second and
Kylee Silverman (11.12 meters) was third.
In the discus, Carpenter (35.74 meters) finished first while Denison had each of the top-four of six of the top-seven throwers in the event.
In the hammer, Silverman (45.24 meters) was first while
Tam Dzolic (39.20 meters) was second and
Amy Pollack (38.03 meters) was fourth.
