Rock Island, Ill. - Senior Emily Brennan crept into the top-22 for the 400-meter hurdles after a new personal-best as the Denison women's track and field team sent three athletes to Augustana to try and improve marks and times for the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Others competing were senior Sydney Flores and sophomore Mira Renaldi, who competed in the 100-meter hurdles, shot put, and discus. Renaldi set a new school record in the 100-meter hurdles, and Flores placed top-eight in discus

Senior Emily Brennan set a new personal-best in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:01.19. With her new time, she ranks 12th in the country and now in the field for the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Selections for the championships will be released tomorrow May 15, with the top-22 qualifying marks selected to compete.

Sophomore Mira Renaldi finished seventh with a new personal-best time of 14.53 in the 100-meter hurdles, putting her 37th in the country and a new school record.
