La Crosse, Wisc. - Senior Emily Brennan has notched All-American honors at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in La Crosse, Wisconsin, at the Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex in the 400-meter hurdles. The Stittsville, Ontario native qualified after posting a personal-best in the Augustana Midwest Twilight Qualifier last week.
Brennan finished the event with a time of 1:02.18 for 14th place across all heats. Last week at Augustana, she catapulted into 12th in the country with a new personal-best time of 1:01.19. Before her time, she was on the cusp of qualifying for the championships. She becomes the first Big Red in women's track to be named an All-American since Arlesha Cospy in 2018, and becomes the 10th overall athlete to secure All-American honors.
