La Crosse, Wis.- The 2026 NCAA Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championship selections have been announced, and Denison women's track and field senior hurdler Emily Brennan has qualified for her first NCAA Championships in the 400m hurdles.

Brennan ran an impressive 1:01.19 on Wednesday, May 13, at the Augustana Midwest Twilight Final Qualifier. Recording a personal best, Brennan ranked 12th in the nation and ultimately held her ranking after the final day of qualifying on May 15th.  

She will travel to La Crosse, Wis., to compete in the 400m hurdles inside Veterans' Memorial Field Sports Complex. Prelims for the 400m hurdles are set for Thursday, May 21, around 5 p.m. CT, with finals taking place on Saturday, May 23.
