SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (December 3, 2022) – The Denison University women's track & field team began its 2022-23 indoor campaign on Saturday at the Tiger Open hosted by Wittenberg University.
The Big Red put together a pair of second-place finishes in the field events by
Catelyn Gagnier in the pole vault (3.30 meters) and
Rainer Yaeger in the triple jump (10.90 meters).
In the throwing events,
Tam Dzolic finished fourth in the weight throw with a mark of 13.67 meters while
Kylee Silverman was sixth in the shot put at 10.90 meters.
On the track,
Caliyah Bennett finished third in the 60 meter hurdle finals with a time of 9.62 seconds while
Anaya Jolivette was fourth in the 60 meter dash finals (7.93 seconds) and sixth in the 200 meter dash (26.53).
In the 800 meter run,
Erin Anderson and
Erin Mayle finished back-to-back in fourth and fifth place with times of 2:24.65 and 2:28.11, respectively.

NEXT UP: Denison will return to action on Saturday, January 14, when it travels to New Concord, Ohio, to compete in the Muskie Meet.
