BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Seniors Arlesha Cospy and Hannah Hall represented Denison women's track and field on Monday afternoon at the 2018 'Southern Indoor Classic hosted by Birmingham-Southern College.

Cospy led the pair with two second-place finishes in the weight throw and shot put events. In the weight throw, Cospy connected on a distance of 49'6.25" to finish in the top-two. She then added the same finish in the shot put with a throw of 40'6.75".

In the high jump, Hall placed third overall when she reached a height of 5'3.00" on her third and final attempt.

The Big Red with resume action in Ohio this Saturday, Feb. 17 when they travel to Gambier, Ohio to compete in the 2018 Kenyon Classic. Select members will also travel to Kent, Ohio to take part in the 2018 Kent State Tune-Up meet.
