Denison secured a perfect 4-0 record in Hilton Head following an 8-1 victory over Connecticut College on Friday.
The sophomore tandem of Jay Fovel and Juan Guerra shutout Mike DeCorato and Joshua Suneby at No. 3 doubles. Senior Tim Martin and rookie Shankar Rajupet logged their second-straight win at the first flight after taking down George King and John Cangelosi, 8-2. The Big Red completed the sweep following an 8-6 win by Jeffrey LoDuca and Tyler Cempre at second doubles.
Guerra and Cempre both recorded their fourth-straight singles wins following victories at the first (6-4, 6-1) and third (6-4, 7-5) flights, respectively. Freshman Grant Veltman and sophomore Andrew Marczak also notched their third-consecutive victories, while first-year Casey Cempre won a 7-5, 6-0 decision over Suneby at No. 2 singles.
DU improves to 6-0 overall, while the Camels fall to 4-1. Denison returns to action on Tuesday when they host Ohio Wesleyan at 4 p.m.
