Box Score Taylor Estes' goal in the 92nd minute propelled Wilmington to a 2-1 overtime victory over the Denison Big Red on Tuesday night.
Denison took a 1-0 lead late in the first half when Mark Waterman scored off a feed from Jamie Wagner. That goal would stand until the 58th minute when Wilmington's Erik Hammar notched his fifth goal of the season off a nice through ball by Henrick Hornnaess.
Just 1:56 into the first overtime period Estes was there to follow up a deflected shot attempt by Max Eurenius.
Denison held a 13-12 advantage in the shot department and both teams tied with four corner kicks apiece. DU goalkeeper Matt Wagner played all 92 minutes and finished with three saves. Quaker goal keeper Antionio Trujillo tallied five saves.
Denison falls to 6-3-2 while the Quakers improve to 7-3-1. DU looks to get back into the win column on Saturday when they host The College of Wooster at 4 p.m.
