Thomas More's Aaron Osborne found the back of the net twice as the Saints shutout the Denison Big Red 2-0 on Saturday afternoon from Crestview Hills, Ky.

Osborne broke the scoreless tie in the 27th minute on an unassisted tally.  He also added an insurance goal just seven minutes and nine seconds later off an assist from Dan Miller at the 33:18 mark.  Thomas More outshot the Big Red 8-2 in the first half, including four shots on goal.

In the second half, the Denison offense turned up the pace as they rattled off 11 shots, including three on net.  However, Thomas More goalkeeper Zack Lawson stopped all four shots he faced over the 90 minutes of action.

Big Red keeper Matt Wagner (Nicholasville, Ky./Lexington Catholic) made four saves on the day.  Senior Ish Ghodbane (St. Louis, Mo./Ladue Horton Watkins) attempted a team-high three shots, while senior Zach Gaines (Cincinnati, Ohio/Finneytown), junior Chris Olson (Arlington Heights, Ill./Rolling Meadows) and sophomore Ryan Torgersen (Spring, Texas/Klein) all registered two shots.

Both squads took 13 shots and made four saves.  Denison committed 21 fouls, while the Saints were whistled for 15 infractions.  The home team attempted four corners in the first half, while DU tried two corner kicks in the second period.

Denison falls to 2-3, while Thomas More remains unbeaten with a 3-0-1 record.  The Big Red returns to action on Tuesday (Sept. 14) when they host Earlham College.  Match time from Barclay-Thomsen Field is scheduled for 7 p.m.
