Five Athletes Earn USTFCCCA All-Region Honors

New Orleans, La. - The 2026 USTFCCCA All-Region honors were recently released for the indoor track and field season, and five Big Red student-athletes earned honors in two events. Sophomore Mira Renaldi of the 60-meter hurdles, and the women's DMR team consisting of first-year Hanna Hack, first-year Shaylee Murdough, sophomore Jane McNamara, and junior Piper Lee all received recognition after placing top-eight in their region. 

Renaldi has broken the 60-meter hurdles record four separate times this season, with her first being a time of 9.16 at the Wittenberg Tiger Collegiate Open. Over the course of the indoor season, she improved her time significantly, and set a personal-best at the North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships with a time of 8.92 in the prelims. She finished fourth overall at conference, securing a time of 9.08.

The women's DMR team consisting of Hanna Hack, Shaylee Murdough, Jane McNamara, and Piper Lee earned All-Region honors after a medal finish in the conference championships. The quartet finished third with a time of 12:24.93 to earn All-NCAC honors and be named All-Region.

Denison will kick off the outdoor season at home in the Denison Lid-Lifter Meet on Saturday, March 28.
