Kalamazoo, Mich.- For the second time in her career, Denison women's diver, Lu-Si Minnich, will be a part of the Denison women's swimming and diving national team at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships. In her final NCAA Regional of her career, Minnich clinched a National Team spot after finishing sixth in the 3-meter.
On day one, Minnich recorded 374.45 points on the 1-meter board (11 dives), for a 12th-place finish. Not giving up on her chances to make it to nationals, on day two, Minnich secured a sixth-place finish in the 3-meter dive with a final score of 425.90 (11dives). She managed to edge out the next diver thanks to seven dives over 40 points, and finished Regionals with a Forward 1 1/2 Somersault 2 Twist Free for 45.00 points.

Denison women's swimming and diving will travel to Indianapolis, Ind., for the 2026 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, with a roster of 15. 14 swimmers have qualified for 49 different events, and after this weekend at Regionals, will round out the team with one diver and two additional events with the Minnich qualifying for both the 1-meter and 3-meter dive.
