Colorado Springs, Co.- Denison University field hockey juniors Tabitha Chandler and Emma Gebhart were named as two of just 175 student-athletes named to this season's NFHCA Division III Watchlist, powered by Performance Sports Events (PSE).

The Big Red were one of four North Coast Athletic Conference schools represented in the 84 Division III institutions named in this year's watchlist, in total the NCAC earned seven spots on the list. Last season both Gebhart and Chandler earned two of the major conference awards. Gebhart was named NCAC Offensive Player of the Year leading the conference in goals (15), points (35), and shots (78). She also received NFHCA Second Team All-Region honors. Chandler earned Defensive Player of the Year after anchoring the Big Red defense that recorded six shutouts and only allowed five goals through conference play.

Denison kicks off its 2025 campaign on Saturday, Aug. 30, against the University of Lynchburg at 11 a.m. on Deeds Field-Piper Stadium. The Big Red will continue its opening weekend competition on Sunday, Aug. 31, with an 11 a.m. matchup against Shenandoah University.
