Maschke and McRoberts Named WGCA All-American Scholars

WGCA All-American

Women's Golf | 7/2/2025 2:29:00 PM

Coral Springs, FL — The Women's Golf Coaches Association announced earlier this week the 2024-25 WGCA All-America Scholar team and two members of the Denison Women's Golf team were named. Senior captain Ella McRoberts and first-year standout Siena Maschke were among the 1,499 Division III women's college golfers from 403 programs recognized with this honor.

The criteria for earning a spot on the All-American Scholar Team are among the most rigorous in all of college athletics, continuing to demonstrate the high-level academic achievements of our players. To be selected, a student-athlete must:
• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.
• Be an amateur and remain on the team's roster through the end of the season.
• Have competed in at least 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year, including the conference championship.

Maschke concludes her rookie season as the NCAC Newcomer of the Year, a first-team All-NCAC honoree, the top finisher to represent Denison at the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships, and a member of the WGCA Region Four/Great Lakes team.

For the fourth straight year, McRoberts has earned a spot on the WGCA All-America Scholar Team. She wraps up her career as a Big Red with four All-NCAC honors, the NCAC Newcomer of the Year award for the 2021-22 season, and three appearances at the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships. She has also been named to the WGCA Region Four/Great Lakes team two consecutive years (2023-24, 2024-25).
