Granville, Ohio- This weekend, the No. 2 Denison University Men's Tennis team hosts the first three rounds of the Division III Men's Tennis Championships, from May 9-11. Denison (23-2) will host a set of opening-round matches in Granville, Ohio, and will take on the winner of the first-round matchup between Greenville (21-5) and Rose-Hulman (13-9). The Panthers and Fightin' Engineers will square off on Friday, May 9, with the winner advancing to face Denison on Saturday, May 10, at 10 a.m.
Denison will make its fifth consecutive and 12th overall appearance in the national tournament, after winning the NCAC's automatic berth with a 4-1 victory over No. 13 Kenyon in the conference tournament final. The Big Red holds a 5-12 (.294) record in NCAA action; last season, Denison made a historic run in the NCAA Championships, advancing to the quarterfinals for the first time in program history. This season, the Big Red has earned its highest ranking in program history, sitting at second in the nation just behind Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (23-0), heading into the second round of the NCAAs.

Greenville earned its spot in the NCAA Tournament with a 4-2 victory over Principia in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference championship match. This marks the Panthers' third NCAA Tournament appearance, and they hold a 0–2 record in NCAA postseason play. Rose-Hulman secured its
NCAA Tournament berth by winning the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament with a 4-0 victory over Anderson. This marks the Fightin' Engineers' eighth NCAA Tournament appearance, and they own a 2-7 (.222) record all-time in tournament action. This marks the first time in program history that Denison will face either Greenville or Rose-Hulman on the court.
