Granville, Ohio – The No. 20 Denison University women's lacrosse team secured an automatic berth in the NCAA tournament and a first-round bye after winning the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament for the third consecutive season. The Big Red (14-4) earned the opportunity to host the first and second rounds of the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championships and are set to face the winner of the first-round game between Carroll (Wis.) (13-3) and Lake Forest (14-4) on Sunday, May 11, at 1 p.m. The first-round match-up will occur on Saturday, May 10, at 1 p.m. at Kienzle-Hylbert Stadium in Granville, Ohio.

En route to its 27th NCAA appearance, Denison clinched its spot in the national tournament by defeating Kenyon College 21-11 in the semifinals and beating the College of Wooster 12-5 in the championship match, securing its 18th conference tournament title.
 
This will mark Denison's first match-up with either Carroll or Lake Forest in program history. Carroll is the automatic qualifier out of the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin; the Pioneers make their second trip to the national stage. Lake Forest earns the automatic qualifier from the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference, entering NCAA play for the third time. Both squads are seeking their first NCAA win.
