Geneva, Ohio- In his third NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, senior
Andrew D'Asaro came in with the 15th-best throw and finished with a First-Team All-American finish. After a strong first throw, D'Asaro found himself atop the field, but with each attempt, his opponents started to pull ahead of him. Not willing to give up the chance for an All-American finish, D'Asaro threw a distance of 63.02 (206-9) in his sixth and final throw, for eighth place and a First-Team All-American nod. This finish marks the best in his career and an exclamation point to D'Asaro's Big Red throwing career.
