Granville, Ohio- The 2024-25 College Sports Communicators' Academic All-District® Men's Tennis Team was released recently, and three Denison University men's tennis team members were selected.
Senior
Colin Gramley, from Sharon, Pa., earned his second consecutive CSC Academic All-District® honor after a solid season in doubles play. Gramley and teammate
Jacob Patterson finished the regular season with a 15-4 overall record and a perfect 4-0 record in conference play. The duo earned Doubles All-conference Second Team honors.
Junior, North Coast Athletic Conference Singles Player of the Year and Doubles Team of the Year,
Ethan Green, from Salt Lake City, Utah earned his second straight CSC Academic All-District® nod. Green was selected to the All-NCAC First Team after posting a 25-6 regular season while recording a 7-0 conference record. e displayed a 9-3 record in the No. 1 flight, 3-0 in No. 2, and 2-0 in No. 3. He is the fifth consecutive and 14th overall Denison player to be named NCAC Player of the Year. This is Green's second time being named First-Team All-NCAC and his third time overall.
Junior
Kael Shah, from Nairobi, Kenya, was the other half of the NCAC Doubles Team of the Year with Green. Shah nabs his second CSC Academic All-District® after a spectacular singles and doubles season. In singles play, he posted a 28-6 overall record while going undefeated in NCAC play with a 7-0 record. He was 4-3 in the No. 1 flight,7-0 in No. 2., and 7-1 in No. 3.
Shah and Green wrapped the regular season with their second consecutive Doubles Team of the Year honor and earn First-Team All-NCAC honors. The dynamic duo went 26-6 overall while going 4-0 in conference play and 16-3 in Flight No. 1.
