Skolnik and Slater Earn Second-Team All-America Honors at NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships

Rochester, N.Y.- Denison men's track and field seniors Ari Skolnik and Chris Slater close out their indoor season at the 2025 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships as NCAA Second-Team All-Americans. Making his second NCAA indoor track and field appearance, Skolnik finished in 15th in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.16 seconds, which sits second on Denison's indoor top-ten times list. In his first NCAA championship appearance, fellow senior Slater finished 13th in weight throw after throwing a distance of 18.26m on his third throw.

The two wrapped up their indoor season as Great Lakes All-Region student-athletes, Skolnik was recognized for his efforts this season in the 60-meter hurdles, and Slater earned All-Region in both shot put and weight throw. 

Up Next: 
The Big Red return home to Granville, Ohio on Saturday, March 29, to host the Denison Lid-Lifter. The meet will take place inside Deeds Field-Piper Stadium.
