Granville, Ohio- The Denison men's track and field team came up short in its first home dual meet of 2025 against the College of Wooster. The Big Red fell to the Fighting Scots 74-47, tallying six first-place finishes and 13 top-three finishes across the evening.Â

Mid-Distance and Sprints
In the 4x200 meter relay,
Liam Quinlan,
Pierce Patterson,
Akindele Aboyade-Cole, and
Jack Meyerowitz ran a 1:35.10 for first place.
Simon Glass took first in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:02.34, and
Malik Holley claimed first in the 200-meter run, crossing the finish line in 23.07.

Field Events
Over in the field events, multiple Big Red student-athletes earned top-three finishes. Pacing Denison with first-place finishes were
Jason Spino,
Justin King, and
Chris Slater. Spino cleared a height of 3.79m (12-5.25) in pole vault, King threw a distance of 12.90m (42-3.75) in shot put, and Slater secured his third first-place finish of the season in weight throw with a mark of 18.95m (62-2.00)
