Box Score GRANVILLE, Ohio (April 14, 2024) – No. 14 Denison University men's tennis defeated Oberlin College 9-0 at home on Sunday to improve to 13-3 overall and 5-0 in the North Coast Athletic Conference. It was only the second home match of the season so far for Denison and was also the fifth 9-0 sweep during the Big Red's current eight-match winning streak.

Doubles
- Zachary Portnoy and Tomer Ozmo (No. 3 doubles) and Ethan Green and Kael Shah (No. 1 doubles) each won 8-0 while Andy Mackler and Jacob Patterson won 8-3 at No. 2 doubles.
- It was the first time playing together this season for Portnoy and Ozmo.
- Green and Shah, the No. 8-ranked pair in the Central Region, improved to 6-4 together at No. 1 doubles.
- Mackler and Patterson are a perfect 15-0 when playing together this season and are 11-0 in dual matches.
Singles
- Colin Gramley won 6-1, 6-2 to improve to 3-0 at No. 5 singles and 5-0 in dual matches this season.
- Shah won 6-0, 6-2 to improve to 7-0 at No. 1 singles and 13-2 in dual matches.
- Nickawn Namdar won 6-1, 6-3 to improve to 4-0 at No. 6 singles and 6-0 in dual matches.
- Patterson won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 singles to improve to 11-2 in dual matches while Anthony Payiavlas earned his first win of the season in a dual match with a 6-4, 6-1 decision at No. 4 singles.
- Green was a 6-2, 6-3 winner at No. 2 singles to improve to 10-3 in dual matches.

Single-Season Singles Wins:
- Shah (24-3) is now tied for fourth in singles wins in one season. The record is 31 set by Andreas Chapides in 2023.
Single-Season Combined Wins:
- Mackler (47-4) is still second in combined wins in one season. The record is 55 set by Tim Cianciola in 2022.
