Austin, Texas- Senior doubles duo Ethan Green and Kael Shah, this year's 2026 NCAA Doubles Champions, have been named to the First-Team Academic All-America® as selected by the College Sports Communicators for the 2025-26 season.
Ethan Green (Salt Lake City, Utah | Financial Economics) has, for the second consecutive year, earned a spot on the 2025-26 Academic All-America® First Team. Green is a six-time ITA All-American (three-time singles, three-time doubles), named the 2026 North Coast Athletic Conference Doubles Team of the Year with fellow NCAA Champion Shah, and earned first team All-NCAC in singles and doubles play. He wrapped his illustrious Big Red career with a 21-9 singles record and 29-6 doubles record, and captured Denison's first-ever NCAA doubles championship.
Kael Shah (Nairobi, Kenya | Global Commerce), after earning second-team honors his junior year, earned 2025-26 Academic All-America® First Team honors after reaching the NCAA men's singles tennis quarterfinals and securing Denison's first-ever NCAA doubles championship with fellow senior Green. Shah finished his senior season with a 33-6 singles record and a doubles record of 28-6, earning Shah All-NCAC first-team accolades in singles and doubles play, and NCAC Player of the Year.
This achievement increases Denison's total to 134 Academic All-Americans® in school history. Green and Shah received their second Academic All-Americans® honors, adding to the men's tennis Academic All-Americans® recognition, which now totals five.
