(March 13, 2024) – The No. 10 Denison University men's tennis team put up a valiant effort and it came all the way down to the final singles match to decide a winner, but in the end, the Big Red fell 5-4 against the No. 1 nationally-ranked team in NCAA Division III, Emory University, on Wednesday afternoon in Atlanta, Georgia.

- Ethan Green won 6-2, 7-5 over Ryan Glanville at No. 3 singles, making it a 3-2 Big Red deficit.
- Then down 4-2 and needing to win out, Denison had a chance in all three matches.
- A 7-6, 6-4 win by Kael Shah over Nolan Shah at No. 2 singles made it 4-3.
- Then at No. 1 singles, Patterson pulled out a 3-6, 6-2, 7-6 (7-0) three-set victory over Dean Kamenev to tie the match at 4-4.
- In the final match, Mackler won his first set but came up short in the end, 2-6, 6-4, 7-5, against Justin Waldman at No. 4 singles.

- It was the second time in as many seasons that Denison (5-3 overall) closed out its Spring Break trip at Emory (7-1), which just last month took on three of the nation's top teams and came out on top with wins over Gustavus Adolphus, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, and WashU to win its 10th ITA National Team Indoor Championship.
