ORLANDO, Fla. (March 15, 2023) – The No. 10 Denison University men's tennis team finished off an undefeated trip to Florida with wins of 8-1 over Ithaca College and 6-1 over NCAA Division II Dallas Baptist University on Wednesday.

Doubles
Singles
- Nickawn Namdar started off singles with a 6-1, 6-0 win in the six spot before Daniel Garcia clinched the win with a 6-2, 6-0 decision at No. 4 singles.
- Gramley came out on top with a 6-2, 6-4 victory at No. 5 singles before Zachary Portnoy won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 2 singles and Camden French won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 3 singles to round out the match.
Match #2 – No. 10 Denison 6, Dallas Baptist 1:
Doubles
- Bulger and Harms earned the first win with a 6-4 decision at No. 1 doubles before Ethan Green and French won 6-3 at No. 3 doubles to give the Big Red the doubles point.
- With the doubles point already clinched, Portnoy and Andy Mackler still pulled out a 7-5 win at No. 2 doubles.
Singles
- Bulger raced to a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles and Macker won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 6 singles to make it 3-0 Big Red.
- The clinching point came from Chapides with a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles.
- Green added a 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 4 singles before Patterson won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 3 singles.
Records:
- It was the first matchup between Denison (12-1 overall) and Ithaca (3-4) since their first meeting in 2011, and was the first-ever meeting between the Big Red and Dallas Baptist (10-8).
Next Up: Denison will finish off Spring Break with a highly-anticipated top-10 matchup in NCAA Division III as the Big Red travel to Atlanta, Georgia, to battle No. 8 nationally-ranked Emory University at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 17.
