ROME, Ga. (October 14, 2023) – The run for Denison University sophomores Ethan Green and Kael Shah at the 2023 ITA Cup came to an end during the quarterfinals of the doubles tournament on Friday night.

On day two of the tournament, Green and Shah matched up against the No. 2 overall seeded pair of Nolan Shah and Dean Kamenev from Emory University, and it was a battle as the Big Red took the first set by a score of 6-4.

Emory, however, came back with a vengeance with a 6-1 win in the second set, and then in the third-set super tiebreaker, it was a 10-6 win for the Eagles.

Green and Shah finish their fall season 7-3 overall and will be named as All-Americans. It will be the third time in the last four seasons under Head Coach David Schilling that Denison has had at least one All-American.
