SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (January 29, 2022) – The Denison University men's track & field team closed out the month of January by sending four runners to compete at the Steemer Showcase, hosted by Wittenberg University on Saturday.

Nathan Bertman, Keanan Ginell and Worth Hinshaw each took part in the 5000 meter run as Ginell had a fifth-place finish. Additionally, Charlie Webb competed in the 400 meter dash and both the 60 meter hurdles prelims and finals.
 
ALL DENISON RESULTS:

• Keanan Ginell – fifth place in the 5,000 meter run – 14:54.29
• Charlie Webb – seventh place in the 60 meter hurdles prelims – 8.79 seconds
• Charlie Webb – eighth place in the 60 meter hurdles finals – 8.78 seconds
• Nathan Bertman – 20th place in the 5,000 meter run – 15:46.06
• Worth Hinshaw – 21st place in the 5,000 meter run – 15:47.27
• Charlie Webb – 26th place in the 400 meter dash – 53.34 seconds

 
NEXT UP: The Big Red will return to action on Saturday, February 5, when they host the annual Bob Shannon Invitational inside the Mitchell Fieldhouse. Field events will begin at 12 p.m. with the running events to follow at 2 p.m. Denison will also play host to the All-Ohio Indoor Track & Field Combined Events Championships Feb. 5-6.
