GRANVILLE, Ohio—The 9^th ranked Denison women's lacrosse team will travel to the College of Wooster on Saturday, May 1 for the 2021 North Coast Athletic Conference Championship at 1 p.m.. The Big Red qualified for this year's championship by winning the NCAC West Division with a perfect 5-0 record. Wooster won the East Division with a 4-0 mark. The East winner was the pre-determined host of this year's championship.

• In five NCAC West contests, Denison has outscored its opponents 98-13, good for a 19.5 goals per game average.
• Denison is led in scoring by senior Liza Farnham (28 g, 11 a). Casey McTague follows with 24 goals and a 62 percent shooting percentage.
• Senior defender Charlotte Godfrey leads DU with 42 draw controls, 24 ground balls and 19 caused turnovers in nine starts.
• The winner of Saturday's NCAC Championship game will receive the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Denison is seeking its 22^nd NCAA Tournament berth and the program's seventh consecutive appearance, all coming under head coach Amanda Daniels.
• Since taking over the Big Red in 2014, Daniels boasts a perfect 12-0 record in NCAC Tournament play with a stellar 50-4 record in regular season conference play. Denison is riding a 43-game conference winning streak that dates back to 2015.
• This is the third-straight time Denison and Wooster have met in the NCAC Championship game. Denison prevailed 13-10 in 2019 and 17-10 in 2018.
