The Big Red got on the scoreboard when Abby Martone juked a defender and sent a shot between the legs of Oberlin goalie Maggie Gossiaux.
The Denison offense remained on the attack, outshooting the Yeowomen 12-1 in the first half and 6-1 in the second half. Gossiaux kept Oberlin in the match by posting 13 saves.
DU was led in shot attempts by Alyssa Bahel who finished with four. Charlotte Happel took three and four others were tied with two.
Ellen Westfall finished with one save in the 65th minute off a shot by Oberlin's Ariana Enzerink.
Denison (7-3) will travel to Kenyon College on Saturday, Oct. 1 for a 12 p.m. match against the Ladies.
