Denison closed out its spring break trip to Puerto Rico with a 14-4 loss to the nation's second-ranked team, Franklin & Marshall. 

The Diplomats scored the first 13 goals of the match and held an 8-0 lead at halftime.  The Big Red got on the board with 13:50 to play in the second half when Lizzy Pellicane scored on a free-position shot.  Four minutes later, Carol Allen would score her first of two goals.  Another tally by Pellicane with 7:20 remaining would round out the scoring for DU.

F&M outshot Denison 36-13 while forcing the Big Red into 23 turnovers.  Big Red goalie Hannah Magarian finished with 11 saves while playing all 60 minutes.

The Diplomats got three goals and six assists from Paige Moriarty.  Grace Saliba scored three goals and chipped in one assist while Claire Jackson added one goal and four helpers.

Denison drops to 2-5 while Franklin & Marshall improves to 5-0.  The Big Red will host Alma College on Wednesday, March 23 in their 2016 home opener.  The opening draw is scheduled for 4 p.m.
